There are literally thousands of cultivars available from Garden Centres and Fuchsia Nurseries all over the world.
Their very long flowering period, which is often between June and November, exceeds most other garden flowers.
The varieties include single and double cultivars for the garden border & there are many cultivars suitable for hanging baskets and patio pots.

Fuchsias are quite resiliant and easy to grow if they are watered and fed regularly on a balanced nutrient. Some of the more delicate varieties will often survive in an unheated greenhouse or conservatory throughout the winter to give you a good display of flowers the following year.
